Long Night of Stone

O obxectivo deste portal é impulsar a proxección exterior do noso patrimonio literario.

Emma Watson in dorm evacuation

Harry Potter star Emma Watson was caught up in an emergency at her university on Tuesday after a leaking steam pipe prompted an evacuation of her dorm.
The actress, who is studying English Literature at Rhode Island's prestigious Brown University, was among a number of students who were forced out of the building in their pyjamas when a fire alarm sounded early in the morning.
A source tells TMZ.com the alarm was triggered by a faulty steam pipe which was later fixed and pupils were allowed to return to their rooms.

First Aid for Writers

What is FirstAid for Writers?

A Program Unconditionally Guaranteed
to Solve Your Fiction and Nonfiction Writing Problems

"FirstAid for Writers is a writer's version of 9-1-1" said Compute magazine. You transfer a paragraph, a page, or whole chapters of your work into the program in three seconds flat. You solve your plotting problems guided by Sol Stein just as he has guided some of the most successful writers in America and England. Stein shows you how to apply current techniques to your own work, with instructive examples taken from recent successful fiction. He'll show you new ways to create characters that readers love and remember. You'll learn quickly how to increase suspense and tension in your writing. You'll make background information work for your story rather than against it. You'll help your reader see what's happening on every page (for both fiction and nonfiction). And much more.. "This is the bargain of the century!" said "The Business Computer" syndicated column.
